The San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra (CYO) believes in the transformative power of music education for young musicians. As schools face ongoing cuts to music programs, CYO steps in to bridge the gap, providing a positive and nurturing environment for aspiring talents to flourish.
This June, our students have the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. For our students to play at such a historical institution will be lifechanging. Since it opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall has set the international standard for musical excellence as the aspirational destination for the world’s finest artists. From Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Mahler, and Bartók to George Gershwin, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman, Judy Garland, and The Beatles, an honor roll of music-making artists representing the finest of every genre has filled Carnegie Hall throughout the years.
Won't you help pave this road to success?
