Hi I'm Logan and I play the viola in the Civic Youth Orchestra. I've been playing the viola for 8 years now ever since picking it up in middle school and have enjoyed the journey that playing music has brought to me. It always amazes me seeing how far I've come as a musician from learning the notes of the alto clef all the way to becoming the principal viola of my high school orchestra. Being one of 4 youth orchestras in the country to be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall, one of the most prestigious halls to perform in for aspiring musicians, I never would've thought I would have the chance to perform here this early in my music journey. I was assigned the task of raising $2,500 individually towards my fundraiser and any donation will be greatfully appreciated. 

This opportunity will be life changing.  Since it opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall has set the international standard for musical excellence as the aspirational destination for the world’s finest artists. From Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Mahler, and Bartók to George Gershwin, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman, Judy Garland, and The Beatles, an honor roll of music-making artists representing the finest of every genre has filled Carnegie Hall throughout the years.
