Ever since he first picked up the cello, Jared has performed with his elementary, middle, and high school orchestras. Now as a member of the Civic Youth Orchestra, he has an opportunity of a lifetime. Their orchestra was one of four youth orchestras selected to perform at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City this June.

But getting there won't be easy. It will cost them $125,000 to make the trip. Each orchestra member needs to raise at least $2,500. Any additional money above the individual goal will help fund the entire orchestra.
