As you know I am part of the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra.  In June, the CYO Symphony will be playing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and I am excited and honored to have the opporuntity to play with them. 

Music is so important in my life. I have been playing the cello for almost four years, starting online in March 2020. This opportunity to play in New York will be life changing.  Since it opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall has set the international standard for musical excellence as the aspirational destination for the world's finest artists.  From Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Mahler, and Bartok to George Gershwin, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman, Judy Garland, and The Beatles, an honor roll of music-making artists representing the finest of every genre has filled Carnegie Hall throughout the years.
