As you know, I am part of the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra.  This June we have the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City, as one of four orchestras selected in the United States.

This is going to be a very exciting opportunity for me because this is the first time I will be traveling out of state, and visiting the amazing city of New York, and going to Carnegie Hall will be a fantastic conclusion to a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

However, for this trip to occur, CYO needs to raise $125,000, and every member has committed to raising $2500, to collectively pay off hotels, flights, tours, and private clinics, which are essential for the benefit and well-being of the 70+ students going.
