LOCATION

The Long Center for the Performing Arts
701 West Riverside Drive
Austin, TX 78704

For this month’s dinner, we will be providing dinner for 82 musicians. For this dinner, we will be serving:

  • Chili (meat and meatless options)
  • Corn Bread
  • Mixed Green Salad
  • Fruit
  • Homemade Desserts (w/ GF Option)

We will be purchasing the chili, but need volunteers for the other items.  We also need volunteers to be at the Long Center for the evening to help in person. You are welcome to do both for one event.

There are 50 members of this committee that still need to participate in person. To remain in good standing with WSL you are required to participate for one shift in person and your commitments are assessed annually. Please make sure to sign up for the in person shift as well as the food commitments.

***Please Note: You may use the donation button and contribute $30.00 if you would like to meet one of your obligatory food donations, in dollars, to go towards our entree and side for this month's dinner.

  1. In Person Volunteers should arrive at the Long Center promptly by 6:00pm and you will be done by 7:30pm. We will set up the food stations, serve the musicians, then clean up the food stations. At that point, you will have the opportunity to stay and observe the rehearsal if you wish. Minors are not allowed in the Long Center during rehearsals.

  2. Food items should be dropped off the day of the dinner at the Long Center between 5:45-6:15 PM.

If for any reason you are not going to be able to deliver your food or show up to volunteer, it is your responsibility to find another committee member to cover your volunteer responsibilities.

Please make note of the requirements:

Over the course of  the season, we will be looking for each committee member to: 1) Volunteer in person for at least one of the rehearsal dinners AND 2) Provide/Pick up food for at least two rehearsal dinners.
