The Story

For my birthday, I'm asking you to join me in honoring the resilience of Holocaust survivors and ensuring they continue to live with dignity, comfort, and connection.

This fundraiser supports the vital work of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles (JFSLA), which provides compassionate care and critical services to more than 1300 Holocaust survivors across Los Angeles. Many of these individuals are now in their 80s and 90s, living on limited incomes and coping with the lasting effects of trauma.

Through JFSLA’s Holocaust Survivor Program, survivors receive:

Home care assistance to help with daily activities and maintain independence
Emergency financial aid for rent, food, and medical expenses
Counseling and emotional support from trauma-informed professionals
Social programs and community gatherings that combat isolation and foster connection
Case management and advocacy to help survivors navigate complex systems of care

Your support ensures that these courageous men and women—who have endured unimaginable hardship—continue to receive the care, respect, and companionship they deserve.
