Location: Austin Lighthouse – 4512 S. Pleasant Valley Rd, Austin, TX 78744 Dates: November 8-9 & November 15-16 Hours: 12pm to 6pm
The go-to person! Manage the visitor, artist, & vendor sign-in table, distribute event programs or maps, and provide information if needed.
Offer a warm greeting and a helping hand! Welcome visitors as they arrive, provide an overview of the Lighthouse and the artists’ exhibits, and answer general questions.
Create a welcoming environment! Volunteers will assist artists and vendors with setup, organization, and any on-site needs during the event. Ensure their space is clean, accessible, and well-stocked.
Serve as a point of contact for visitors needing information about the Austin Studio Tour. Lead small groups or individuals through the exhibits, explaining the artwork, sharing stories about the artists, and highlighting Austin Lighthouse’s mission.
Capture the energy! Media Mavericks help share short videos of the event, artists, and visitors for promotional purposes. Assist with live social media posts or event coverage.
Help bring the Austin Studio Tour to life! Volunteers will assist with setting up tables, signage, and materials before the event.
Help bring the Austin Studio Tour to life! Volunteers will assist with breakdown and resetting the space afterward.
