The Great Getaway is a week long opportunity for special needs families to enjoy a retreat atmosphere. The camp is put on through Hurdling Handicaps Speaking Ministry. This fundraiser helps support the camp and the families who attend. Each vote = $1 and is a great opportunity to come alongside families and help them have an unforgettable week at The Great Getaway.

Steve and I have been blessed to work with the Great Getaway camp in 2019 and 2022.  (Camp was closed due to COVID in 2020 and 2021).  It is a wonderful place where families affected by disabilites can experience relief from the daily challenges of caring for their child with disabilities.  The Great Getaway offers programming for all ages from babies to senior adults.  We offer a variety of afternoon activities including swimming, horseback riding, crafts, etc.  In the evening, we have special programming that includes a Motown Mingle, a Hoedown, special dinner for our Caregivers and our amazing Camper Talent Show.  The Great Getaway offers scholarships to assist families in coming to camp.  Your vote for Steve and I is an encouragement to our family.  Thank you for your support.
