EVENT TIME

Mon, June 29, 2020

Our quarterly Office Hours with Purpose events connect women entrepreneurs with experts, investors and veteran entrepreneurs in a curated and intentional way. We brief both the entrepreneur and the mentor ahead of time to ensure participants get the most out of their time and walk away with the insights and answers they need.

Women@Austin members get $10 off the ticket price of this event. Learn more about becoming a member here.

Our June Office Hours have a new virtual format!

For this session, YOU get to choose which mentors you meet with.

Thank you so much to our sponsors Charles Schwab, McGinnis Lochridge and Pioneer Bank for making this event possible.

How it works:

  • This event will take place throughout the week of June 29 - July 3, in set meeting times that fit with your schedule.

  • In your confirmation email, you will find a link to Acuity Scheduling. This link will allow you to schedule up to 3 meetings with mentors of your choosing, at times that are most convenient to you. *We recommend that you complete this form as soon as possible, as scheduling mentor sessions will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Final deadline to complete the form is June 24*

  • Once you schedule your meetings with your chosen mentors, a member of our team will send you calendar invitations with your chosen mentor and the Google Hangout link. Please try to familiarize yourself with Google Hangout prior to your meeting, to avoid any last minute technical difficulties.

  • Attend your virtual mentor meetings through the Google Hangout link in the calendar invite.

Guidelines:

  • Don’t be late! Be respectful of your mentor’s time. Be sure to check that you can use the appropriate technology beforehand.

  • Make the most of your time. You will only have 30 minutes with your mentor, so don’t spend too much time introducing yourself.

  • Come prepared. Research your mentors before meeting with them and have your questions ready.

  • Respect the relationship. Please do not follow up with mentors independently unless they have indicated a desire to continue communicating.
