Founded in 1946, the mission of the United Way of Grundy County is to improve lives by uniting the caring power of our communities.  In 2021, we celebrate 75 years of making a difference in Grundy County!

Through annual support from generous donors, United Way of Grundy County funds local Community Partner Agencies that provide more than 50 vital programs and services and over 42,000 units of service annually to those in need in our communities.

United Way of Grundy County invests in FIVE FOCUS AREAS that positively change lives:

• Fulfilling urgent & basic human needs
• Improving financial stability
• Helping youth succeed
• Increasing independence & self-sufficiency
• Promoting health & wellness

Programs supported through our efforts provide assistance for basic human needs, financial stability, education, health & wellness, mental health, crisis intervention, transportation, individuals, families, persons with disabilitites, youth, seniors, veterans, and disaster relief.
