MLK Day Tree Planting with AmeriCorps

Celebrate MLK Day with Trees Knoxville and CAC AmeriCorps by giving back to the community through tree planting. Together, we’ll plant 20 new trees and help grow East Tennessee’s urban forest.

The event will include a brief tree-planting demonstration and hands-on planting. Light refreshments will be provided. Volunteer Foresters are welcome to join and share their expertise.

What to Bring & Wear
Please dress for muddy conditions and check the weather before arriving. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress in layers. Gloves and tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer.
