StepUP is one of The Change Lab’s main tools. It gives people a simple way to learn, connect, and act on the issues that matter most to them.

A short quiz points people to one of six starting pathways. Most platforms assume you already know how to get involved. StepUP is built for people who just want to know where to start.
Why It Matters
Almost 70% of Americans say they want to take part in civic life but don’t know the first step. StepUP is designed for them. It lowers the barrier so people can move from curious to active at their own pace.
