On Sunday, December 21, 2025, St. Matthew’s House is hosting our annual Candlelight Vigil on the longest and traditionally coldest night of the year.
Held annually on National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, we gather to honor those who are without a home, pray for their safety, and remember those we’ve lost—especially individuals who passed away this past year. Joining more than 180 cities nationwide, we will memorialize lives lost to homelessness and find comfort in each other during this somber evening.
Hot cocoa, coffee and cookies will be served at the Vigil.
