Are you ready to take your farm camp experience to the next level? Little GROWers Camp graduates and new campers alike will love our new middle school summer experience, brought to you by Project GROWS and the Blue Ridge Children’s Museum! Using all 10 magical acres of pasture, production beds, education garden, and stream, Junior GROWers will explore where their food comes from and practice observing, identifying, and drawing the butterflies, birds, bugs, and animals that live here. With help from our seasoned education staff and guest instructors, we’ll investigate the science of soil, go on tree identification walks, help out on the farm, and make some delicious recipes in our outdoor kitchen. We’ll spend time being active outside (hiking in the woods, playing games on the lawn, and harvesting veggies in the garden), but we’ll also enjoy quiet time working on arts and crafts projects in the shade while snacking on the fruits of our labors.

Lunch: Lunch and snacks will be provided free of charge by Staunton City Schools. Students are of course welcome to pack their own lunch, though.
