While we promise a night of frightful fun, we come together to acknowledge the criminalization of our most marginalized community members. More than ever, local bail funds are a vital lifeline, fighting against injustices that disproportionately affect those facing systemic oppression. By supporting the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund, you help ensure that everyone has access to freedom and justice, regardless of their financial situation. Come out and support this important work while having an inspiring evening of fun!
What is the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund? We are a grassroots, volunteer-run organization that has been in operation since 2020. Over the past 5 years, we have freed hundreds of people! Our goal is to end the harms of cash bail & pre-trial detention, and build a Utah that supports our most vulnerable community members rather than harms them. We also run a court support program to accompany people to immigration court and provide them with rapid resources in cases where immigrants are detained.
