PURPOSE: SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER | GIVE. DONATE. PARTICIPATE.
The Jewel Court Program is a signature initiative of the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., designed to support the personal and intellectual growth of young girls ages 5–12. The program features five core components, each strategically developed to address contemporary youth challenges while providing practical tools and life skills. Through engaging workshops and activities, participants explore:
- Cultural Awareness
- Self-Esteem Development
- Friendship and Character Building
- Effective Communication Skills
In addition to their developmental experiences, participants take part in a fundraising initiative to support the Maggie McDowell Scholarship Fund.
The Jewel Court Program not only cultivates leadership, confidence, and social awareness, but also creates a memorable and enriching experience for each participant.
Over the years, Delta Fine Arts and the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., through its youth enrichment programs, have raised over $500,000.00 for scholarships.
