Volunteers Needed: Smash for the Saints

Smash for the Saints is a full day of pickleball, food, music, and community, and every dollar goes to the San Pasqual Union Foundation. Eight courts running all day, three divisions, a beer garden, a bounce house, and a whole lot of families in one place.

We can't pull it off without volunteers. You don't need to play pickleball. You don't need to know pickleball. You just need a couple of hours.

Where we need help

Court scorekeepers Track the score and call out games on one of the eight courts. We'll show you exactly what to do at check-in. This is the easiest way to be in the middle of the action.

Check-in table First face players see. Hand out shirts and event tickets, get people to the right court, answer questions.

Snack bar Serve food and drinks, handle event tickets, keep the line moving.

Beer garden Sell tickets and check IDs. Volunteers for this station must be 21 or older.

Raffle table Sell raffle tickets, display prizes, and help run the drawings.

Bounce house Keep an eye on the kids, manage the line, make sure everyone comes out in one piece. Great spot if you're bringing family anyway.

Shifts

Shifts run roughly four hours. Sign up for one or stay all day, whatever works. Morning slots start at 8:00 AM for setup, and we could always use a few hands for takedown at 4:00 PM.
