The most vulnerable are children and the elderly. More and more families struggle to pay for the rising cost of their cart of groceries. The USDA projected overall food prices in 2026 to rise by nearly 3%. Hunger affects a child’s ability to learn new skills or focus in the classroom, increases behavioral issues, and affects their health. Many senior citizens on a fixed income are facing an impossible choice — to buy groceries or prescription medication. After a lifetime of hard work, it is both humbling and scary.
Reveal Resource Center is committed to helping feed everyone who finds themselves in need of food assistance. Today, Reveal's food pantry, clothes closet, and diaper ministry serves about 600 families every week, representing nearly 2,400 individuals. Each approximately 20,000 lbs of food with the help of over 100 volunteers. We are 99% volunteer-operated!
