Since its founding in 1999, the Sundt Foundation has reflected our employee-owners’ passion for giving back to the places where we live and work. Each year, the Foundation awards approximately $2 million in grants to a diverse array of charitable organizations, provides disaster relief contributions, and holds special fundraising events like this tournament in our communities.
Since 2001, the Sundt Foundation has hosted a suite of sporting competitions across the country to raise funds for nonprofit organizations. To date, these charitable fundraising events have raised over $2.6 million.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Returning Veterans Project.
Since 2005 Returning Veterans Project has offered confidential mental and physical health services for Veterans, Service Members and their Families in Oregon and SW Washington. Each year, RVP helps hundreds in the military community access care at no cost to them. RVP is able to do this work through a generous network of licensed and insured Volunteer Health Providers.
RVP believes it is our collective responsibility to offer support, healing, and access to care for our Veterans in our community. We believe Veterans, Service Members, and their Families have the right to:
- Mental and physical health services without stigma or judgment
- Confidential services from their provider of choice
- Access to timely, low barrier, health services they need
