We hope you can join our 2026 Annual Fundraiser so we can continue to raise money to provide fitness programs to youth and communities in New York City and Puerto Rico and also provide support to local Puerto Rican entrepreneurs on the Island to run and grow their respective businesses. We are a fully volunteer-run organization and nearly all the donations go to our communities we serve.

Phyt Cares is the minority and woman-led 501c3 U.S. tax-exempt and 1101.01 Puerto Rico tax-exempt (Child Eradication of Poverty [CECFL]) arm of Phyt Gym founded by Jonas Serrano and co-founded by Elana Margulies-Snyderman that educates youth and communities through fitness in New York City & Puerto Rico and also supports and mentors Puerto Rican entrenprenuers to run and grow their respective businesses.
Due to the generous support from global alternative investment/financial services professionals and Act 60 residents in Puerto Rico, we have been instrumental in touching the lives of hundreds of individuals in the New York City area and on the Island.
In the New York City area, we are proud to partner with the following groups where we provide weekly fitness programs: Kool Kids Passaic (NJ), a Jewish community organization for youth with special needs; YAI, a non-profit for young adults with special needs; and students at Issac Newton Middle School in East Harlem.
In Puerto Rico, through a partnership with a Jewish community organization on the Island, we have given their members complimentary access to Phyt Gym PR to have a welcoming fitness home. In addition, through a partnership with the IslandCorps. for underserved youth on the Island, we collect and donate toys to children in vulnerable and remote communities. Finally, we have been instrumental in supporting and mentoring young Puerto Rican entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to run and successfully grow their businesses our of Phyt Gym PR.
