Support a good cause and learn more about the fascinating history of Bucks County's covered bridges! Local author and historian R. Scott Bomboy will speak about his new book, "Wooden Treasures," in a fundraising event for the Pennridge Community Relief Fund. "Wooden Treasures" is the first detailed history of the 51 covered bridges that once were located in Bucks County, from Newtown to Riegelsville. The book includes more than 240 pictures and illustrations, many of which have not appeared publicly in print before.
Attendees will receive the book (a $29.99 value) signed by the author, and light refreshments will be served. A pre-talk signing starts at 6:30 p.m., with the talk at 7 p.m., following by a post-talk signing.
