Welcome to the 2nd Annual Peninsula Band Booster Club Dinner & Auction fundraiser!
About This Event: This is a celebration and fundraiser event for all ages. There will be great food and drinks, live music, and a good time will be had by all who are willing to join in the fun. Ticket price (per each) includes admission to the event, a bar-b-que plate dinner, and a bidder number for the live auction. Can't make it to the event? Join us for our online silent auction (just press the green "Register" button.)
"The theme is GREEN!" Wondering what that means? Show your PHS Band spirit by wearing some green while we raise some green $$$! Think all styles of green, grey and white attire. Dressing up is encouraged but not required, and certainly, we want everyone to be comfortable.
Guests are invited to help raise funds through multiple avenues, the first of which is buying a ticket to attend! There will be both a silent auction (on-line through this website) and live auction on the night of the event. There will also be a "dessert dash" as well as other fundraising opportunities throughout the night.
Where: Key Peninsula Civic Center, 17010 S Vaughn Rd NW, Key Center, WA 98394
When: Saturday, February 28th at 5:00 PM
Why: All proceeds raised go to the Peninsula Band Booster Club (PBBC) which are then used 100% in support of the Peninsula High School Band program.
What We Do: For over 16 years, the Peninsula Band Booster Club (PBBC) has fulfilled two primary roles, volunteer coordination and fundraising for the PHS Band program. Money raised by PBBC is used to bridge the gap between school funding and program needs by paying for numerous program expenses - from instrument-specific clinicians to improve instrument mastery, to transportation and logistical needs for competitions, to financial aid and support for auditions, to concert and marching uniforms (just to name a few.) Without this volunteer and financial support, the PHS band would not be able to provide the quality educational experience that has such a positive impact in the lives of so many students and our community at large.
For most students, the cost of their instrument falls on the family, but there are several instruments that are so expensive, it is unreasonable to expect the family to pick up the cost. In these situations, it is the band program that provides their instruments. Purchasing new instruments and equipment to replace broken or well-used ones is one of the single greatest expenditures required of a band program. The useful life for a band instrument is approximately ten years due to the wear incurred from constant use. The PHS band's current instruments have been well used and are showing their age. One of the PBBC's primary goals this year is to raise funds to acquire new instruments for the band.
Enjoy "Early Bird" pricing on your tickets purchsed online through February 25th.
Regular adult tickets will be $30 on February 26th and at the door.
All students ages 6-18 are $5 each. Kids 5 and under are free.
