Running for Good!

Running for Good!

On October 4, 2026, I am doing something that eighteen years ago felt impossible: I will be lining up for the Smuttynose Rockfest Half Marathon in Hampton, NH.

In 2008, my life was forever changed by a cancer diagnosis. I am a survivor, and for that, I am profoundly grateful. I am NOT a "runner", not by a long shot, but I am a survivor, and I have found that my body is capable of incredible things when it is supported.

I am running this year to:

Honor My Body: I want to use my strong, capable body to prove that there can be so much vibrant, active life after diagnosis. This 13.1-mile journey is a celebration of what I can do, and how I can use it to raise money for a great cause.

Inspire Others: I want to inspire fellow warriors to celebrate their own bodies and to encourage everyone to find a way to honor themselves and give back. A good challenge never hurt anyone.

Support a Lifeline: I am raising critical funds for the Tough Warrior Princesses (TWP). When you face cancer, you need a sisterhood that understands. TWP provides that connection, along with Warrior Baskets, comfort, and direct support to local women.

Your support means the world to me and to the women TWP serves.

How You Can Help:

Donate to My Run: Your tax-deductible donation is my "fuel" for training and race day! Every dollar helps TWP continue their vital mission.
