Stephen and Janie have always been a source of kindness and support for those around them. Four years ago, Stephen was diagnosed with cancer, and since then, he has faced not only the physical and emotional toll of the illness but also serious complications from treatments. The journey has been incredibly challenging, with Stephen unable to work for the past two years. Janie, his devoted wife, has had to modify her work with clients in order to take care of Steve full time.
The financial strain has been overwhelming. Their treatments and ongoing care have led to mounting medical bills, travel expenses for treatments, and everyday living costs. Despite these hardships, Stephen and Janie remain hopeful and grateful for the support of their community. Their faith and the prayers of friends and family have brought them strength and some improvement, but the road ahead is still uncertain.
Many of you know “That Janie Girl” in the Permian and other basins, and you may have been touched by the kindness and generosity that both Stephen and Janie have shown over the years. Now, they need our help. Please consider supporting them—whether through a donation, sharing their story, or keeping them in your prayers. Every bit of support is a way to give back the love they have shared with so many.
