Join Nerdy Girl Success for our upcoming Career & Leadership Summit, where we'll welcome high school young women from Communities In Schools of Galveston County for a day of career exploration, inspiration, and connection. Through engaging activities and conversations with professional women, students will discover new career possibilities and gain valuable insights into the opportunities available to them. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create a fun, welcoming, and impactful experience for these young women!
Help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our students and volunteers! Responsibilities include greeting arriving student buses, checking in volunteers, preparing student goodie bags, assisting with lunch setup, and providing general event support as needed.
Share your career journey and inspire the next generation of young women! Career representatives will host a table where students can stop by to learn about their profession, career path, challenges, lessons learned, and advice for exploring future opportunities.
