Set-Up Volunteer

Help us bring The Show to life! Set-up volunteers will assist with preparing the event space before guests arrive, including arranging tables and décor, placing signage and event materials, organizing auction and raffle areas, and helping with other behind-the-scenes details. This is a hands-on role perfect for volunteers who enjoy creating a welcoming, beautifully organized event environment.

Time Commitment: Arrive during your scheduled set-up shift and help until your shift is complete.

Help us make the raffle a success! Raffle volunteers will oversee the raffle table, assist guests with raffle entries, answer questions, and help keep the raffle organized throughout the event. At the close of the raffle, volunteers will assist with pulling and verifying winning entries and helping winners claim their prizes.

The raffle is a virtual raffle. Guests will not need to be present to win. We will begin drawing winners through BetterUnite at 2:30, following the start of The Show.

Welcome and check in our models as they arrive! Volunteers will help confirm arrivals, provide important event information, direct models to the appropriate areas, and help ensure everyone is ready for the event.

Note that models will be arriving at staggered times beginning at 10am till 12pm.

Candy Bouquet Volunteers

Help guests create a sweet take-home keepsake! Candy Bouquet volunteers will welcome guests,  build their bouquets based on the guest selection, assemble candy “stems,” keep supplies stocked and organized, and assist with guest checkout. You’ll add a little creativity and a lot of fun while helping guests select their own delicious bouquet!

Volunteers should plan to arrive and be stationed at the front check-in tables. Volunteers will be provided in advance with login information to access the checkin system through BetterUnite. (Basic training can be provided if unfamiliar with the system)

As a Registration/check in volunteer you will be stationed at the table to begin checking in guests promptly at 12:30PM- 2:30PM (30 minutes into the program start)

Registration volunteers are encouraged to bring their own laptop if possible. Our goal is to move guests into the event space swiftly and organized.

Merchandise Table Volunteers

Help guests shop and show their NC4K pride! Merchandise volunteers will greet guests, keep the display organized and stocked, assist with purchases, answer basic questions, and help package items for guests. 

Merch volunteers should plan to be stationed during the pre party from 12:30-2pm and for 45 minutes following the show.

Support attendees with finding their tables and assist with basic wayfinding for the event.

Human Slot Machine Helper

Bring the fun and energy to this interactive pre-show activity! Volunteers will help guests understand how to play, assist with the human slot machine, keep the game moving, and make sure everyone has a great time. Be ready to cheer guests on, keep the energy high, and help create a memorable experience!

No experience needed! Great family volunteering shift! The Slot machine will be part of the pre party from 12:30-2pm.

Golden Box Table Volunteer

Help bring a little excitement and suspense to NC4K The Show!

Golden Box is a simple activation station at The Show where guests will get the chance to purchase a small golden box (only 100 are available!) The guests are not to open them until later in The Show program. All boxes will be opened at the same time and one will reveal a $500 prize!

What you'll do:

• Welcome and engage with guests
• Assist with Golden Box purchases (done virtually)
• Distribute Golden Boxes
• Answer basic questions about the fundraiser
• Help keep the table organized and stocked
• Build excitement leading up to the big reveal!

Tear Down Crew

Help us wrap up the event and get everything back in order! The tear down crew will assist with packing up displays, décor, signage, and event materials; loading items for transport or storage.Volunteers should be ready to pitch in wherever needed to help us finish the event strong and leave the space clean and organized.

*if just volunteering for tear down no dress code is needed. Dress comfy!
