Dear Mi Casita Families,

Behind the scenes since the birth of Mi Casita, there has been one person at the root of how beautiful and clean you always find our space. From day one Maribel has always come rain or shine to clean Mi Casita weekdays and weekends. Maribel needs our help.

On the night of Friday, October 7th, Maribel’s nephew Oscar and his fiancee Tania suffered a devastating car accident in Ambato, Ecuador. Both instantly fell into a coma. Tania died nine days later, while Oscar just came out of the coma this past Friday night. He is still not conscious and is is suffering from kidney failure and broken bones. 

In an effort to directly support Maribel’s brother and Tania’s family to cover both hospital and funeral costs, please consider giving.

Mi Casita has  set up this Betterunite fundraiser page through which you,  friends and/or family can help support a member of our community. We hope to raise $3000 by next Friday, Oct 28th. All money raised (minus processing fees, which you can offer to cover)  will be sent directly to Maribel.
