ABOUT PARTICIPANT | Gabrielle Martin
Gabrielle Martin is an exceptional 11-year-old and a proud 6th grader. From an early age, Gabrielle developed a deep and personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—a foundation that continues to shape her character and daily life. She is an active and devoted member of her church, serving faithfully as a junior usher, singing in the youth choir, and assisting in a wide range of ministry activities with a joyful and willing heart.
Gabrielle is also a well-rounded student and a natural leader, recognized for her academic excellence as a member of the National Elementary Honor Society. She participates in school-led community service projects, always eager to make a positive impact on those around her. In addition to her spiritual and academic pursuits, Gabrielle is a dedicated athlete, balancing her time as a volleyball player, softball team member, and cheerleader.
Known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and vibrant energy, Gabrielle continues to grow into a young woman of purpose, faith, and integrity.

The Jewel Court Program is a signature initiative of the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., designed to support the personal and intellectual growth of young girls ages 5–12. The program features five core components, each strategically developed to address contemporary youth challenges while providing practical tools and life skills. Through engaging workshops and activities, participants explore:
- Cultural Awareness
- Self-Esteem Development
- Friendship and Character Building
- Effective Communication Skills
In addition to their developmental experiences, participants take part in a fundraising initiative to support the Maggie McDowell Scholarship Fund.
The Jewel Court Program not only cultivates leadership, confidence, and social awareness, but also creates a memorable and enriching experience for each participant.
Over the years, Delta Fine Arts and the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., through its youth enrichment programs, have raised over $500,000.00 for scholarships.
