WE NEED YOU!
Weather permitting we will do as much pre positioning/set up of the event as possible on Friday between 10am - 3pm. This will include setting up the parking area, marking vendor spaces, moving tables/chairs/tents into position, posting signs, decorating, etc.
You will assist with all aspects of parking. This may include taking payment, directing vehicles to the correct parking area (handicap, vendor, volunteer, etc.) and assisting guests with mobility issues.
Captain: Denis Michel
You will assist with vendor arrival. Greet vendors, help them find their space and ensure they move their vehicle to designated parking area once they've unloaded their items. Assist with tent set up if needed.
Captains: Erin Mullaney & Mara Micklovic
Only seasoned volunteers familiar with sanctuary programs and outreach should sign up for this station. You will answer questions about Martys Place and the days activities. You will also be a point of contact for volunteers to check in, get a name badge and be told where to report.

You will help sell Martys Place Merchandise (calendars, T-shirts, brick pavers, etc.).
Captain:
You will be selling 50-50 tickets in advance of the 4:30 drawing. You may be stationed at a table or wandering the grounds selling tickets (volunteers can rotate roles during the shift).
Captain: Gabbie Kalra
You will assist in managing the Super Basket Raffle. This may include selling tickets, monitoring the basket area, answering questions, etc.
Captain: Sue Plesca
There will be 2 stations and you may be assigned to either (or rotate). One station will be checking ID, putting on wrist bands and selling drink tickets. A second station will be taking drink tickets, ensuring "purchaser" is wearing a wrist band and pouring wine/tapping beer.
Captain: Erin Mullaney
You will assit in all aspects of the carnival game station. This may include selling tickets, handing our prizes or running a game (prize wheel, plinko, bean bag toss, ring toss, etc.).
Captain: Helene Goldberg
You will help manage the sign-up/registration activities for people entering the K9 Talent Contest. You will help with the conduct of the Talent Contest - lining up contestants, etc.
Captain: Kate Lasko
Duties may include signing up contestants for pie eating contest, assembling pies, preparing contest area, monitoring contest to determine winners, giving out prizes, cleaning up after each contest
Captain: Wanda Nocella
You will help manage the sign-up/registration activities for people entering the K9 Costume contest. You will help with the conduct of the costume contest - lining up contestants, etc.
Captains: John Wysocki, Emma Wei, Gia Lang
Assist at the JAG agility demonstration and then collect donations for the agility equipment try outs.
Captain: Lisa O'Neill
You will assist the Pawsitively Purrfect Staff with the Sniff or Treat station. Helping to manage wait list and flow of people and pets through this station.
Captain: Sandra Mecca
You will be stationed at the starting point for the Hay Rides. Answer questions, assist people getting on/off the ride, answer questions, etc. You may take turns riding along on the hayride as a narrator and provide background information on Marty's Place (talking points will be provided).
Captain: Angela Fasanella
You will check-in the individuals who purchased a mini-reading session. You will escort them to the reading location. This activity runs from 12 - 1:30 after which you will finish you will finish your shift at another station (MP information/welcome, 50-50 sales, MP merchandise).
You will assist with packing up supplies and returning them to storage, taking down tables and tents, folding up chairs, removing signs, ensuring no trash remains on the grounds, etc.

Greets VIP guests and ensures they get to their location (judges, emcees, sheriff, press, etc.)
