In the interest of supporting the health and wellbeing of our community, we have decided to cancel the Community Harvest Festival scheduled for October 2, 2021. This family-friendly event will launch next year in 2022 and we hope you will plan to be a part of the race to end gender-based violence in SLO County. β
β
Plan to join us at the first annual Lumina Alliance Harvest Festival and 0.5k! Athletes and non-athletes alike can join the "race" to end gender based violence. The event starts with a 0.5k race (approximately 550 yards) and racers are encouraged to wear costumes! Following the race, everyone is invited to enjoy a DJ, silent disco, a resource fair, a maker's market, raffle prizes, and lots of family-friendly activities. Food, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. This event will be fun for ALL ages!
The Harvest Festival is the first major event celebrating the merging of two prominent community organizations (RISE and Stand Strong) into one new organization-- Lumina Alliance.
Lumina Alliance's vision is to create a safe, thriving, and equitable community. Our mission is to empower those impacted by sexual and intimate partner violence through innovative advocacy, healing and prevention programs. You support of our Community Harvest Festival supports free or low-cost access to these services for those who need them in our community.
