The third-grade drama residency with Lookingglass Theater, now in its 9th year, is one of the programs that distinguish Bell School from other high-performing schools. Through the month-long, fully inclusive residency, students: learn basic drama skills; read stories related to the themes of tolerance, collaboration, and ethical decision-making; and present an informace showcasing their adaptation of a story they have selected. Students and teachers from all four classrooms of third-graders are mixed to create four blended groups who work with teaching artists. Classes are held on the stage and in classrooms.
