Experience the Spirit of San Miguel: A Cultural Evening to Support Underserved Communities

Join us for A Taste of San Miguel event hosted at the beautiful White Rock Lake home of former Dallas Cowboy Bob Breunig and his wife, Mary, to benefit the Little Things Matter Foundation. This year's event will feature a Concert on the Lawn, with gourmet picnic baskets and music by Grupo Kumbala, direct from San Miguel de allende, Mexico.

Our event promises to transport you to the charming colonial-era city of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico's central highlands. With a concert on the lawn by Grupo Kumbala from San Miguel de Allende, margaritas, mercados, and a Mexican delicacies. The evening will be a vibrant celebration of Hispanic culture. More importantly, it will be a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved Hispanic communities through programs that support education, economic empowerment, and holistic well-being.

Our evening will begin with cocktails and botanas overlooking White Rock Lake while listening to Marachi Music. Dinner will include Mexican gourmet picnic baskets, wine, beer, and margaritas.

Las Pequñas Cosas Importan offers an integrated learning program for children in rural Mexico to inspire creativity, critical thinking skills, and self-confidence while opening doors to opportunities. Las Pequañas Cosas Importan is Little Things Matter sister organization in Mexico. We offer year-round programs that give 100+ children in the San Miguel Viejo rural community in Guanajuato, México, the opportunity to explore their strengths through education and well-being programs.

Your support provides unlimited classes to children in arts, music, literacy, English, STEAM, and after-school tutoring for one month!

Little Things Matter Summer Camp 2026 is approaching! Summer VBS Camp will offer children a week of fun activities, healthy meals, community building, and learning about Jesus.

We serve the children of San Miguel Viejo, a small rural community outside of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Sixty children, ages 3-16 will join us for a meaningful week of fun, learning, and community-building together!

Each day children will receive healthy snacks and small meals, play fun team games & sports, create art, and learn about biblical stories and values.

In addition to a week of fun & learning, children will receive a t-shirt and bible story book.
