This annual parade is a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and the beautiful diversity of Southern Nevada. Volunteer positions will be supporting the flow, staging and disbanding of the Las Vegas PRIDE Parade to ensure a seamless event.
- Street Captain - Staging: POC for parade entries to check-in and make sure they are at the correct staging zone. Will also direct participants when to begin moving into the flow of the parade. (1 virtual meeting required to participate)
- Street Captain - Parade Route: Help ensure the parade is moving at a safe/steady pace. Direct the traffic of the parade, ensuring that parade floats/walkers are moving at a consistent pace and there are not large gaps between entries. (1 virtual meeting required to participate)
- Street Captain - Disbanding: Direct participants where they can disband/exit the parade route. All floats/vehicles need to be made safe to drive on regular streets before exiting the disbanding zone. (1 virtual meeting required to participate)
- Parade clean up: Support with removing anything from the streets before street sweepers come through after the parade ends. This may include striking tents, tables, chairs at the main stage intersection (4th & Bridger).
