In 1985, the Lake Travis Education Foundation was born. Just one year later, LTEF hosted its very first Gala. Since then, you've given $6.2 million back to Lake Travis ISD through LTEF. That’s not even counting scholarships!

Every year, LTEF works to grow that impact. We’re proud to continue the classroom grant program, but today’s challenges call for something more. Please watch this video to learn about how funding schools in Texas works.

Because of the deficit, our mission is expanding to address the urgent need to support and retain the incredible people who make our schools thrive. To make that possible, we’ve changed our by-laws so we can fund staff support directly. 

It's not just about programs or materials. It’s about people.

The Lake Travis Education Foundation hosts a golf tournament, Hill Country Turkey Trot, Annual Gala and Butterfly Brunch to raise funds, but monthly contributions provide gifts that go directly to student programs and teaching positions.
