Hello, friends! I’m Kelsey Allore, and I’m delighted to invite you to an event that’s very special to me:

Second Chance Prom, a fundraiser for Mending Spirits Animal Rescue!

Growing up in Mankato, I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially cats. My childhood was filled with the joy of having furry companions, and they brought so much happiness into my life. Now, as a tattoo artist at Mecca Tattoo, I get to express my creativity every day, but my true passion lies in advocating for our four-legged friends. My husband and I are proud pet parents to three dogs and seven cats—most of whom we adopted. Each of them has a unique story that inspires me to do everything I can to help animals in need.

I’m genuinely excited to spend another prom with my husband, surrounded by all of you, while supporting a cause that means so much to us. Second Chance Prom is not just about the fun and dancing; it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community and make a real difference in the lives of animals who deserve loving homes.

Adopting animals is incredibly important for so many reasons:

Saving Lives: Each adoption means one less animal in a shelter and one more life saved.Many of these animals face uncertain futures, and adoption gives them a second chance at happiness.

Reducing Overpopulation: By choosing to adopt, you’re helping to tackle the pet overpopulation crisis. Shelters are often overwhelmed, and your decision to adopt plays a vital role in reducing the number of animals that end up homeless.
