Why I'm Running With Team CSC United in the 2026 NYC Marathon:

Cancer Support Community (CSC) provides essential support and connection to anyone impacted by cancer. Over the past year working with CSC, I've seen firsthand how the organization has provided life-changing programs and trusted resources at no cost. What makes CSC truly special is their reach: a hyper-local network across over 200 locations in 50+ markets worldwide, ensuring that emotional, social, and practical guidance is always accessible.

CSC's mission is deeply personal for me. When my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in May 2020, my family and I faced not only medical complexity, but overwhelming emotional uncertainty. Nearly six years later, his resilience and strength continues to inspire me and everyone around him each and every day. His experience showed me the profound impact of community support. I'm running this marathon to ensure anyone impacted by cancer can access CSC and feel informed and connected at every stage.

Thank you all for your support. I am so grateful for the opportunity to run my first marathon with such an impactful organization.

$335 SPONSOR A CSC UNITED TEAM RUNNER!

A gift of $335 covers the registration cost for one athlete. Your support allows CSC to invest more of each runner’s fundraising directly into the programs and services that support people impacted by cancer, while also giving our runners the encouragement of knowing that someone is standing behind them before they ever reach the start line. This is a special way to support the team. It is personal, tangible, and deeply appreciated.

When you support a runner, you are helping turn one athlete’s marathon experience into something much bigger: greater awareness for CSC, more momentum for our fundraising campaign, and expanded support for the people and families who rely on our community during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
