I’m running the Marine Corps Marathon with CSC United as an active duty Air Force spouse, a mom, and a woman who wants her children to grow up knowing just how strong military spouses truly are. Behind every uniform is a family learning how to adapt, endure, and keep moving forward no matter what comes next. I’m running to show my children that courage looks like continuing on tired legs, with a full heart, for something bigger than yourself.

I’m also running because I work for Cancer Support Community, and I believe deeply in its mission to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. In a time when so many people are searching for safety, connection, and belonging, CSC is that place for so many families. This race is my way of raising awareness, giving back, and helping ensure more people can find comfort, support, and community when they need it most.

Military families already carry so much. They move when duty calls. They navigate long separations. They shoulder the weight of service with quiet strength. And when a cancer diagnosis enters the picture, the fight becomes even heavier—appointments, uncertainty, distance from support systems, anddisruptions from daily life. Our collective team goal for 2026 is $25,000.
