Star Jonathan Green:Jonathan Green is a CPA and owner of J.A. Green Accounting, where he works alongside his wife Allison, serving small businesses and nonprofits across Central Texas. A proud product of Waco, Jonathan is a Midway grad and Baylor alumnus who has deep roots in the community he calls home. He is a graduate of Leadership Waco Class XXXVI and stays actively involved around town through service on various boards, including Midway Little League, the Greater Waco Sports Commission, and as a Trustee on the Midway ISD school board. When he's not serving his community, Jonathan spends his free time in the stands and on the sidelines watching or coaching his kids in all manner of sports. He is excited to step onto the dance floor this October to support the Family Abuse Center and the families they serve.
Pro Hannah Ernest Requa is a freelance professional dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Waco, TX. As Director of {254}DANCEFEST, she has shaped the festival into a vibrant cornerstone of Central Texas’s contemporary dance scene. Originally from Colorado, Hannah earned her BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University and received additional training at Kansas City Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Paul Taylor, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
She has performed with Bruce Wood Dance, Corpus Christi Ballet, Ad Deum Dance Company, wild goose chase, Mei/Co Dance, and currently dances with Ventana Ballet and TY&CO. Her festival appearances include {254}DANCEFEST, Brazos Contemporary Dance Festival, Bailando Dance Festival, Project Dance, Modern at the Folly Theatre, and the World Dance Alliance Global Summit in France.
Hannah has choreographed for schools and companies such as Munro Ballet School, Impulse Dance, Canyon Concert Ballet School, and Mei/Co Dance, and has been commissioned for performances by the Modern Art Museum of Corpus Christi, the American Heart Association Go Red Gala, and Unbound Now Waco’s Ignite Hope Gala. She is currently creating a work for the inaugural season of The Artist Files in Austin, TX.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has co-directed a fine arts high school dance program, guest lectured at TCU, served on faculty for multiple summer intensives and festivals, held an adjunct faculty position at Baylor University, and taught at local studios. She brings dance into community spaces through programs like Healing Harmonies with the Waco Symphony Orchestra and The Mama Project, which celebrates motherhood through movement on film. She was recently included in the People of Waco feature of The Wacoan Magazine.
At home, Hannah finds joy in spontaneous kitchen dance parties with her husband and two children.
