Purpose & Role Description

The Translation Volunteer's goal is to assist Infant Massage USA in translating documents from English to other languages, in order to make our content available to wider audiences. This role involves reviewing documents and retyping the content in another language.

• Review documents from Infant Massage USA
• Transcribe content from English to second language, retaining the voice and design of the original document
• Work with staff, Trainers and other Infant Massage USA Members or Advisors to complete translation projects

Skills / Qualifications

• Fluency in a language besides English
• Basic computer skills, including use of email, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets etc) and audio/video conferencing
• Clear writing skills
• Content creation or document design helpful but not required

Training / Support

• All Infant Massage USA Volunteers receive a Volunteer Guide to outline our policies and procedures and video introduction
• Infant Massage USA staff are available for ongoing support
