Purpose & Role Description
The Accounting Volunteer's goal is to assist Infant Massage USA in reviewing accounting/bookkeeping related procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Review Infant Massage USA's financial books & tax responsibilities
- Recommend actions and/or assist with devloping policies, procedures or checklists for compliance
- Work with staff and/or Board Members to complete accounting projects
Skills / Qualifications
- CPA / EO or other accounting specific qualifications
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and Quickbooks Online
- Basic computer skills, including use of email, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets etc) and audio/video conferencing
- Clear writing skills
Training / Support
- All Infant Massage USA Volunteers receive a Volunteer Guide to outline our policies and procedures and video introduction
- Infant Massage USA staff are available for ongoing support
