UPDATE 10/23/18:  Thankfully, we have placed a LOT of the horses in wonderful new homes, but that still leaves horses that need to eat! Fundraising is at an all time low and we hope the village has not forgotten about the horses that remain. We really need your help.  We want to raise $1500 so that we can go and pick up hay to keep everyone happy.

As everyone knows, we have been paying $17.75 per bale of hay because we owed money to the hay guy. We have to send someone to the feed store to pick up enough to use for the day. Every day is the same. This has been extremely costly, both in time and money. In order to get a load of hay, we have to have the funds in advance so that when the hay is delivered, we can pay for it at that time. We don't have any other options. 

Since announcing that we were closing, everything has been a battle. There is no longer trust in this world and everyone thinks you will run out on them. 

So, here we are. With no hay and no way to pay.

Once again, we are coming to you in the hopes that we can raise $7995. to purchase a load of hay. Until then we have to continue to buy it daily. 

We also have an outstanding $3300 for feed & shavings. 

We are doing our best to place the rest of the horses and we can now stretch a load to last 3 weeks but we are always behind lately it seems. 

The horses are in great shape, happy, healthy and shiny.                      

It's all because of you!
