Heroes Resource Center and the Austin Christian Bass Club would like to invite veterans out to Lake Bastrop North Shore on Saturday the 11th of October, 2025 for the 10th Annual Roger Growden Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament.
We have space for 20 veterans (veterans only) who would like to fish on a bass boat. Lunch will be provided, as well as trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place and Biggest Fish. Please let us know if you need to cancel or change your reservation with in 48 hours of the event.
- 7:00 AM Sharp - Arrival time
- 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tournament
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Lunch, Awards and Ceremony.
**Cancelation Policy - If you do not give us notice at least 48 hours before the event you will not be eligible to sign-up for next year's tournament**

You are responsible for obtaining a fishing license for this trip. You can get one at places like Walmart, Dicks, or Academy. Fishing licenses are discounted for seniors over 65 years of age, and free for Active duty and disabled veterans that have a 50% or more disability rating.
