Registration for Attendees Opens March 24, 2025

Heroes Resource Center hosts an appreciation BBQ each year on the Saturday before Memorial Day. This event is designed to bring together Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, First Responders, and their families for a day of connection and enjoyment. It's an opportunity to appreciate the resilience and camaraderie of those who serve, ahead of the solemn observance of Memorial Day itself. By hosting one of the largest free military appreciation BBQs in Central Texas, we offer a day of relaxation, activities, and the chance for attendees to connect with local businesses and non-profits committed to supporting our service community, all at no cost to our Heroes.

We rely on your support to make this event a highlight of community and camaraderie. Together, we can ensure this celebration continues to be a cherished occasion, bringing a moment of joy and unity to our service members and their families.

Basic information:

•  Date: May 24, 2025
• Location: Reunion Ranch 850 Co Rd 255, Georgetown, TX 78633. 
• Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (general public)
  • General schedule:
    • 10:00 am Event Opens to Public
    • 12:00 pm Colors, program and announcements 
    • 12:30 pm Lunch Served
    • 3:00 pm Event End​​​​​​s 

Sponsors and Vendors:

• Arrive at 8:00 am to set up booth.
• We do not have electricity available
  • You must provide your own:
    • Pop up tent (10'x10')
    • Table 
    • Chairs
• Lunch (brisket and sides) will be provided for your booth staff.
  • We will not have vegan or vegetarian options. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
• The event will end by 3:00 pm
  • Vendor and sponsor booths cannot break down until 3:00 pm
• No pets allowed. Service animals only.
• Last year we had just over 2,200 in attendance, we are shooting for 3,000 this year.
• If possible, please bring a door prize item ($25-$50 in value).
