Cook Local Summer Camp
Presented by Grow Local South Texas

Get cooking with Grow Local! Our Cook Local Summer Camp is a week-long, hands-on culinary experience designed for young chefs ages 10 to 15. Campers will work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, learn real kitchen skills, and discover the connection between the food on their plate and the farmers and growers in our community.

From seasonal recipe challenges and cooking demos to garden lessons and nutrition education, every day is packed with delicious learning, all in a supportive, fun environment guided by our staff and guest chefs.

Sponsor a full or partial scholarship to help a child attend camp who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Sponsors get a thank-you shoutout in camp communications and social posts.

$200 Ingredient Sponsor

Help provide fresh, local ingredients for campers to cook with! Sponsors will be recognized on camp materials and social media.

$300 Equipment & Activity Sponsor

Support essential kitchen tools, aprons, utensils, safety gear, and fun camp activities like garden lessons, nutrition games, and cooking demos. Sponsors will be recognized during camp newsletters, and social media.

$500 Chef & Guest Speaker Sponsor

Support the talented chefs, culinary educators, and special guests who bring Cook Local Summer Camp to life! This sponsorship helps cover the cost of honorariums, and preparation time for guest-led cooking demos, nutrition talks, and skill-building workshops.
