Tour of Spain at Boni's
We're heading to Spain for our next We Do Good Work Tour stop, and we're bringing Boni's and the Austin Wine & Food Foundation (AWFF) along with us. Our hosts for the day are Jess Maher and Todd Duplechan, the owners of Boni’s and local favorite Lenoir. They’re incredibly excited to welcome you into their space and share their story of doing good work while running some of Austin's best restaurants.
Here's what to expect:
You'll start out on Boni's patio with a welcome drink, a vermouth-based toast to kick things off right. Then we'll head inside for a little wine education. In collaboration with the Austin Wine and Food Foundation, we will be walked through New World versus Old World wines and how they differ.
After that, it's time to eat. Think Spanish tapas and paella, paired with wines AWFF picked just for this event.
Toward the end, we'll pop back out to the patio for one last drink together while the Boni's crew resets the space for the evening. It's a nice way to close things out, and a good moment to ask questions or chat with the people around you. If you're curious about Boni's wine club, this is a great time to ask about that too.
Every ticket you buy goes toward Good Work Austin's ability to support local food workers, helping create pathways to living-wage jobs, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring workers have the training, resources, and support they need to build stable, thriving careers in the food industry. So come for the wine and the paella, and know you're doing some good while you sip.
