Geeking Out Kids of Color has successfully completed its first year as a non-profit organization.  Through staff and volunteers like you we have geeked out over 200 students, helped over 60 families, raised money to start two new programs, one focused on Grrrls of Color (WOC in Tech) and have had a lot of un raising money at our social events, like the one at Lagunitas! The students also learned about computational thinking through dance, told their personal counterstories through coding, and they build their own machine learning model through a Black Panther Curriculum. Its been a fun year!

This year our focus is to make Geeking Out Kids of Color sustainable through applying for more grants, have more intentional FUNraising social events and building tech products that can produce an income to offer more free programming for new students.
