Come join us for IT'S MY PARK DAY at one of our biggest projects!

When: Saturday March 4th, 9-1pm (or just come to the picnic at noon!)

Where: The Festival Beach Food Forest, 29 Waller St, Austin, TX 78702

What:

Come join us for a morning of planting and nourishing the Festival Beach Food Forest ecosystem. Join us in completing projects such as cleaning up and refreshing pathways, spreading mulch and compost, weeding, spring planting, cover crop harvesting, and more! Festival Beach Food Forest is a public, edible food forest, completely open to the public and completely volunteer-run.

What you need to know:

• We will have snacks and drinks provided during the workday and lunch, community, and music provided after! Please plan to stay a while:)
• We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing.
• Meet at 29 Waller St., to the right of the fenced community garden if you're coming from the street (street parking on Waller). We will get started promptly at 9 am.

We look forward to getting our hands in the dirt with you at Austin's first food forest on public land!
