About Grand Meadow Park
We are grateful for the 5 years of community support that helped make this new park possible! Grand Meadow Park went from a 10 acre undeveloped park to now offering a trail, nature play area, pavilion, play field, and more. Our community garden will soon have rental plots and communal garden areas for the community to enjoy. And our food forest will be the start of the second public food forest in Austin where neighbors can enjoy shade, fruits, nuts, herbs, and more in a space stewarded by the community. Thank you for joining us to celebrate this momentous occasion! Learn more about the park and how to get involved at grandmeadow.org.
Friends of Grand Meadow is proud to host our Community Garden and Food Forest Kickoff as part of the City of Austin's Roots & Wings Festival, which celebrates nature in our city. Learn more about the festival at RootsAndWingsFest.com.
The Grand Meadow Food Forest is supported by the City of Austin's Urban Forest Grant and the Grand Meadow Community Garden is supported by the City of Austin's Food and Climate Equity Grant!
