At Lake Fitness, we believe that strength is about more than what you can lift. Sometimes, it’s about using that strength to lift up the people and causes that matter most.

At Lake Fitness, we believe that strength is about more than what you can lift. Sometimes, it’s about using that strength to lift up the people and causes that matter most.

Flex for the Fight began as a way to honor Marie, Lon’s granny, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2021. Marie was a patient at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington, and her journey is the reason we began our philanthropy efforts surrounding breast cancer awareness many years ago.

Each year, we come together to sweat, lift, laugh, and remember—performing a workout in Marie’s memory while raising money to support the incredible work being done right here in our community.

Our goal is bigger than one person or one story. Breast cancer has touched countless families, including many within our own Lake Fitness community. Flex for the Fight is our way of honoring those we have lost, supporting those still fighting, and celebrating those who have come through the other side.

We are incredibly grateful to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center for the phenomenal work they do throughout our community, from cancer research and clinical care to outreach, education, and support for patients and their families. We are proud to continue partnering with them and helping support their mission to lessen the burden of cancer.

Every dollar raised through Flex for the Fight goes directly to Mary Bird Perkins in Covington.

Whether you're participating in the workout, making a donation, sponsoring a participant, or simply helping us spread the word, you are part of the fight.

For Marie.
For the fighters.
For the survivors.
For the families.
For everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.

Let's get strong for something bigger. 💗
